Solution

Waste Material:

All the toxic or harmful substances produced or present in the body are waste products and need to be removed from the body of the organism. Different waste materials are removed from the body by different excretory organs.

  1. CO2 - Carbon dioxide is a respiratory waste in animals that is produced as a waste product in the cellular process. Carbon dioxide is removed from the lungs through the respiratory tract in animals and in plants, it is removed by the gaseous exchange.
  2. Water - Excess amount of water in animals as well as plants both is waste material and needs to excrete. In invertebrates, it is filtered through the kidney and forms urine, which is excreted from the Urethra from the urinary bladder of the body. In plants, it is removed through the transpiration process.
  3. Urea - Urea is a nitrogenous waste produced in animals, removed from the blood by filtering through nephrons in the kidney.
