Solution
Small Intestine:
An integral part of the alimentary canal where the majority of the digestion occurs.
It is a highly coiled organ and has three different parts, i.e. duodenum, jejunum, and ileum.
The food after being digested completely within the small intestine is then absorbed into the blood vessels for them to carry the food to every tissue of the body.
Large intestine:
It is a much wider tubular structure with three parts ending at the anus.
The three parts of the large intestine include the caecum, colon, and rectum.
This is where the water and minerals are absorbed and the undigested food passes through this.
