  1. Organisms have flat ribbon-shaped, soft bodies.
  2. Usually, endoparasites are present.
  3. Body cavity not found but the space is filled with parenchyma tissues.
  4. These are triploblastic animals, i.e. ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm, and all three embryonic germ layers are found.
  5. A bisexual (both sex organs are in the same body) is also known as a hermaphrodite.
  6. Digestive, circulatory, and respiratory systems are absent.
  7. The reproductive system is highly evolved.
