Frequency is the number of waves that pass through a point in one second, expressed in Hertz (Hz). Pitch is the highness or lowness of a sound. The pitch we hear depends on the frequency of the sound waves with the amplitude unchanged. The higher the frequency, the higher the pitch; the lower the frequency, the lower the pitch.
