Carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxide and water are produced by combustion of fossil fuels like coal and petroleum products. Their incomplete combustion produces carbon monoxide.
All of them, except water, is harmful to us and our environment. For example, sulphur oxide and nitrogen oxide, when mixed with water, cause acid rains. Increase in the carbon dioxide concentration in the air causes global warming.
