  • They are malleable (can be drawn into thin sheets).
  • They are ductile (can be drawn into thin wires).
  • They can conduct electricity and heat.

Therefore, the property which allows metals to be drawn into wires is known as ductility, copper is a metal we can make copper wires due to this property (ductility) for conducting electricity.
