Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is a range of electromagnetic spectrum from the violet color of the visible light spectrum to x-ray, which means in the range of 10nm to 400nm.
The human eye can not see UV rays, but many insects are able to see ultraviolet rays.
It is used in barcodes, medical imaging of cells, optical sensors, and in the photolithography technique of IC (integrated circuit).
Thus, ultraviolet radiation is a form of electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength range from 10nm to 400nm.
