Solution
Theory of Origin of Life:
It was proposed by a British scientist J.B.S Haldane.
The theory stated that life originated from simple inorganic molecules like hydrogen sulfide, methane, and ammonia. All these were present on the Earth.
These simple inorganic compounds were transformed into complex molecules that are significant for life.
Later, Stanley L. Miller and Harold C. Urey in 1953 confirmed this theory through an experiment.
