• Rain: Rain is the main source of water.
• Rivers, lakes, ponds: These are called surface water sources. Lakes and ponds are large reservoirs of water.
• The water seeps down from the surface of the soil and gets stored in the deep layer of soil, that water is groundwater is called underground water.
