The temperature at which a solid state of matter changes into liquid state is called Melting point.

  • When a solid is heated the particles start to vibrate and after reaching a certain temperature the particles vibrates so much that the structure breaks down.
  • At this point the solid turns into liquid and that is called as Melting point.
