Solution
Myopia is the most common refractive error of the eye. This is also known as the short-sightedness. It is a condition of the eye where light focuses in front of the retina instead of on the retina. This may be a result of a cornea that is too curved for the length of the eyeball. This may also be caused due to the lens that is too thick. There is concave type of lens used in order to correct this type of defect. The concave lens helps to focus the image on the retina.
