(a) Concave Mirror: In headlights of a car, type of mirror is concave as the light of the lamp, undergoes divergence from reflector surface and cover a large area in the front.

(b) Convex Mirror: It is a convex mirror as it gives a diminished, virtual and an erect image of the side or rear with wider field view. A convex mirror enables the driver to view much larger area than would be possible with a plane mirror.
