Acids are generally sour in taste. They posses H+ ions.
Sulphuric acid, Hydrochloric acid, and Nitric acid are three common acids.
Bases are generally bitter in taste. They posses OH- ions.
Sodium hydroxide, Potassium hydroxide and calcium hydroxide are common bases.
Normally, Salts are formed by the chemical combination of Acids and Bases dissolved in water
Sodium chloride, Calcium nitrate, and Zinc sulphate are common salts.
