1. The diseases caused by virus are known as viral disease.
2. Three common viral diseases- Common cold, dengue and chikungunya.
3. Common cold is caused by droplet infection from cough or sneeze or also by touching the infected objects. Symptoms include nasal congestion, sore throat, watery eyes and fever.
4. Dengue is a communicable disease caused by the bite of female Aedes mosquito carrying dengue virus. Symptoms of dengue includes high fever, severe headache, pain in muscles and joints as well as fall in blood platelet count.
5. Chikungunya is a communicable disease caused by the bite of female Aedes mosquito carrying chikungunya virus. Symptoms of chikungunya includes high fever, severe headache, rash on the body ,pain in muscles and joints etc.
