• The gases in the earth's atmosphere that collects heat and light from the sun are called greenhouse gases.
• The greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide(${\mathrm{CO}}_2$), methane (${\mathrm{CH}}_4$), CFC's (chlorofluorocarbons), and water vapor.
