Name three parameters that decide which type of plants will thrive on that soil.

Plants require nutrients, gases (carbon di oxide) and water for their growth. Nutrients and water are two factors that plants receive from soil. Gases are exchanged via air with the help of stomata. Other than that, presence of fertile upper layer HUMUS and depth of soil are some parameters that decide which type of plants will survive on it.
The three parameters are
  1. The soil is acidic or basic that is the nature of the soil.
  2. Amount of nutrients present in the soil (naturally occuring fertilizers)
  3. Whether the soil is porous or non porous.
