Tidal Energy:

Advantages:

  1. This energy is cheap and easily available.
  2. Tidal energy is available in unlimited quantity, and it is an inexhaustible source of energy.

Disadvantages:

  1. The harnessing of this energy is only possible at some sites.
  2. The tide goes up and down only twice a day; therefore, the tidal energy is not constant and a large amount of energy cannot be obtained.
