a) GIR (originated in Gir forest of Gujrat)
b) SAHIWAL
The common bacterial Disease in cattle are -
1) Anthrax
This is caused by the bacteria Bacillus āanthracis. It causes sudden death in animals without pre informed symptoms.
Causes difficulty in breathing, Bloody discharge and mild fever.
2) John's Disease
This is caused by Mycobacterium paratuberculosis. It is chronic disease. Symptoms are not initially shown but when the infection reaches a progressive stage, weight loss, and Diarrhoea are the main symptoms that can be seen.
3) Tuberculosis
It is also caused by Mycobacterium paratuberculosis. Various body systems can be affected but the major damage is seen in respiratory tract. Depth and rate of respiration along with chronic coughs can be seen.
