Solution
Decomposer:
Decomposers are the microbes which degrade the complex organic molecule to simpler form.
Microbes like bacteria and fungi play an important role as decomposers.
The decomposers convert dead organic matter into rich humus, thereby enriching the soil with nutrients.
Bacteria like Rhizobium are present in the root nodules which basically fox the atmospheric nitrogen and convert it into usable forms like ammonia, nitrates etc.
Benefits by decomposers:
Bacteria and fungi help in the process called biodegradation.
Bacteria also remove pollutants from the soil called bioremediation.
Both fungi and bacteria help in metabolizing the hazardous waste from industries, farms, and cities and oil spills.
