Following are the two scales of temperature:
Celsius :
The Celsius scale has ice point of 0°C and steam point of 100°C. The interval between the ice point and the steam point is divided into 100 equal parts. Each division is called one degree Celsius and is denoted by °C.
Fahrenheit:
The Fahrenheit has ice point of 32°F and steam point of 212°F. The interval between the ice point and the steam point is divided into 180 equal parts. Each division is called one degree Fahrenheit and is denoted by °F.
Both scales are inter-related as
°C=59(°F−32)
where, °C is temperature in degree celsius and °F is temperature in degree fahrenheit.
