Solution

Distance of the school from house = <!--td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--> 910 km
[0.25 marks]

Distance she travelled by bus = 12 km
[0.25 marks]

Distance walked by Nandini = Total distance of the school – Distance she travelled by bus
[0.25 marks]

= 91012
[0.25 marks]
= (9×1)(1×5)10
[0.25 marks]

= (95)10
[0.25 marks]

= 410
[0.25 marks]

= 25

∴ Distance walked by Nandini is 25 km
[0.25 marks]
