Solution

The correct options are
A

True

C

Naphthalene balls

D

Camphor

Sublimation is the transition from the solid phase to the gas phase without passing through an intermediate liquid phase. ie., the solids change into vapours on heating and back to solids on cooling.

Examples:- Camphor, Naphthalene balls, Ammonium chloride, Iodine

Look around you, you would have seen naphthalene balls become smaller in size, when kept exposed for a few days, due to sublimation i.e. they change their state from solid to gas, thereby getting smaller in size.
