Narayan Malhar Joshi was an Indian trade union leader and follower of Gopal Krishna Gokhale. He founded the Social Service League in 1911 with the objective - to collect and study social facts and discuss social problems with a view to forming public opinion on questions of social service. He started the All India Trade Union Congress in 1920 worked as its Secretary till 1929. It was formed to provide representation for India at the League of Nations' International Labor Organization (ILO).
