Solution
The use of natural resources has increased rapidly in the past century, mostly due to industrialization and urbanization. But there are many consequences of this rapid depletion of the natural resources like:
1) Soil erosion: With continuous use of forest wood and deforestation, the soil becomes loose as the roots of plants are not available to hold it. This leads to erosion of the top layer of soil very easily.
2) Global warming: The fossil fuels are used relentlessly in both industries and automobiles. This has led to a great accent in the levels of green house gases, specially CO2, which leads to a great threat of global warming.
3) Loss of Biodiversity: Due to rapid deforestation and mining, the plants and animals lose their natural habitat. This has led to a tremendous decrease in their population and the species become endangered or may even become extinct.
