The worker bees constitute the majority of bees in a hive. That is because they perform various functions that make them indispensable to the survival of the colony.
Worker bees do a considerable amount of work, day in and day out. They work as a team. Some of their major works are:

  • Cleaning the hive
  • Removing dead and diseased bees
  • Feeding and caring the developing larvae.
  • Attending queen bee
  • Collecting nectar
