Ferromagnetic substance has magnetic domains whereas paramagnetic substances have magnetic dipoles which get attracted to a magnetic field.
Diamagnetic substances do not have a magnetic dipole but in the presence of external magnetic field due to their orbital motion these substance are repelled.
