“The rate of change of momentum of the body is directly proportional to the applied force and takes place in the direction in which the force acts”

Examples

1)High Jump

During an athletic event, the participants in the high jump event are provided with cushions to fall on after completing a jump. This is done to prevent any kind of injury to the athletes.

2)Seat belts

​​​​​To prevent injuries to passengers in case of an accident, all cars are provided with seat belts.
