To find the volume of the remaining window, we have to subtract the volume of the hole from the volume of the window.

Dimensions of the window:
8 ft × 6 ft × 2 ft

Its volume = 8 × 6 × 2 = 96 cubic feet

Dimesnions of the hole:
4 ft × 3 ft × 2 ft

Volume of the hole
= 4 × 3 × 2 = 24 cubic feet

Volume of the remaining window = 96 - 24 = 72 cubic feet
