Let the income of Akhil be Rs. 100.

Then the income of Nikhil will be 20% less than Akhil =10020% of 100=Rs. 80.

Therefore, Akhil's Income is more than Nikhil's by =10080=Rs. 20

Therefore, the required %(Akhil's Income is more than Nikhil's)

=Difference in incomeNikhil's Income×100%=2080×100%=25%

Therefore Akhil's income is 25% more than the Nikhil's income.
