⇒ Total Expenditure in %=5+14+3+40=62%
⇒ The percentage of balance left =100−62=38%
⇒ As per question, 38% of salary is equal to 19000
∴38100×x=19000 [Let income be x.]
⇒38x=1900000
⇒x=190000038
∴x=50,000
So the income of that man was Rs.50,000 that month.
