Let the total income be ₹x.
Total % going in investments and expenses = 5 + 18 + 3 + 44 = 70%
Total remaining = 100 - 70 = 30%
30x100=15000
x=15000×10030=50000
Total invested in shares = 18% of ₹50000 = 18100×50000
= ₹9000
