Open in App
Solution

the human 46 chromosomes have 6.6 x 10 ^ 9 bases. The C at the first position of sugar forms a glycosidic bond with N at the ninth position of pyrine, or N at the first position of pyrimidine. So there would be double the number of glycosidic bonds than base bairs.
