Gobi desert is a great desert ,waterless and rocky place. It is stony. The soil is grayish brown and contain gypsum and rock salt.vegetation is rare only shrubs and heat and salt resistant plants. There are virtually no well and springs however,and vegetation is almost useless and very spare for livestock. The climate is acutely dry,winter is severe,spring is dry and cold and summer is warn. Due to such extreme condition survival of a good vegetation is not possible only some bush like, salt marshes and grass grow.
