Solution

The correct option is A Zero
Glycolysis forms the first step of aerobic respiration in which glucose is broken down anaerobically to form two molecules of pyruvic acid. It is a 10 step process which takes place in the cytoplasm of cells and all the steps are controlled by the enzyme. Since it does not require oxygen and is anaerobic, so no oxygen molecules are required in it.
Thus, the correct answer is option A.
