Describe how the value of a number written in scientific notation changes when you increase the exponent by 1.

In scientific notation , the number is expressed as a product of a digit and power of 10. So, whenever we increase any exponent by 1 , it gets increased by a product of 10. For example: 3×102=300 , if we increase exponent by 1 it becomes 3×103=3000.
