Solution

Total number of slips in the box =10

Number of slip containing a one-digit number =1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9=9

We know that,

Probabilityofoccuringanevent=NumberoffavourableoutcomeTotalnumberofpossibleoutcome

Total number of possible outcomes = Total number of slips in the box =10

Total number of favorable outcomes =Number of slip containing a one-digit number =9

Therefore,

Probability of getting a one-digit number on the slip = =NumberoffavorableoutcomeTotalnumberofoutcome=910

Hence, the probability of getting a one-digit number on the slip is 910.
