(a) Since it is a uniform motion, the average speed is going to be the same as uniform speed. Uniformspeed=distancecoveredtimetaken=(30−20)((30−20)×60)=160m/s=0.0167m/s.
(b) The time difference between the 5th minute and the 45th minute will be 40 minutes.
As uniform speed is 1 metre per minute.
Therefore, the distance travelled in the time interval of 40 minutes is 40 m.
