Observe the below graph & calculate:
(a) Average speed of the car in m/s.
(b) Total distance travelled between 5th minute and 45th minute.

(a) Since it is a uniform motion, the average speed is going to be the same as uniform speed.
Uniform speed = distance coveredtime taken= (30 20)((30 20)× 60) =160 m/s = 0.0167 m/s.
(b) The time difference between the 5th minute and the 45th minute will be 40 minutes.
As uniform speed is 1 metre per minute.
Therefore, the distance travelled in the time interval of 40 minutes is 40 m.
