(a) Translation is the process in which cellular ribosomes read the mRNA codons to create proteins.
(b) In translation, messenger RNA produced by transcription from DNA is decoded by a ribosome complex to produce specific amino acids. The ribosome facilitates decoding by inducing the binding of complementary tRNA anticodon sequences to mRNA codons.
