A - Afferent vessel- The afferent vessel brings blood into the glomerulus of the nephron.
B - Efferent vessel- They carry blood away from the glomerulus.
(b) The difference in the size of the two vessels causes an increase in the blood pressure in the glomerulus and enhances ultrafiltration.
