Linear pair of angles are formed when two lines intersect each other at a single point.


AOP and BOP are Linear pair.

Linear pair are: (1 and 2) , (1 and 4) , (2 and 3) , (3 and 4), (5 and 6), (5 and 7), (6 and 8) and (7 and 8).


Vertically Opposite Angles: When two lines intersect each other, then the opposite angles, formed due to intersection are called vertical angles or vertically opposite angles.


BOC and AOD are a pair of vertically opposite angle.

1 and 3; 2 and 4; 5 and 8 and 6 and 7 are pair of vertically opposite angles.
