Observe the given chemical change and answer the following.
i) Identify 'A' and 'B'.
ii) Write the commercial name of calcium hydroxide.
iii) Identify products 'C' and 'D', when HCl is allowed to react with calcium oxide.
iv) Say whether calcium oxide is acidic or basic.

(i) CaO+CO2CaCO3
Therefore A is CaCO3 and B is CO2
(ii) Commercial name of Ca(OH)2 is Milk of lime.
(iii) CaO+2HClCaCl2+H2O
Here C is CaCl2 and D is H2O.
(iv) Since CaO reacts with acid to give salt and water, it is basic.
