Points A and B lie on the same vertical line and the distance between them will be the difference between their
y-coordinates.


So, AB = CD = |4 - (-4)|
= 8 units

Similarly,
Points B and C lie on the same horinzontal line and the length between them will be the difference between their x-coordinates.

So, BC = AD = |6 - (-6)|
= 12 units

We know, 12=32×8

Hence,
AD=32AB
