Negative moment - Clockwise direction

Net moment = Total clockwise moment + total anti-clockwise moment [0.5 mark]
= -150 kgf $\times$ 30 cm + 250 $\times$ 20 cm = -4500 kgf cm + 5000 kgf cm = 500 kgf cm [0.5 mark]
Since this moment is positive, it will tilt the balance in the anti-clockwise direction. [0.5 mark]
