Observe the pyramid of number which is given below and answer the questions.
(i) As per the number of organisms in the tropic level, which group of organisms are more in number and which are less in number ?

(i) As per the number of the organisms in each of the trophic level, there are more number of organisms in the producers level and less number of organisms in the trophic level of tertiary consumers.
(ii) If the secondary consumers disappear, then the number of primary consumers will be increased because there are no secondary consumers which will feed on the primary consumers. Thus, there will be a decrease in the number of tertiary consumers since there is no food available. The food chain will be disturbed.
