The total person working in the company $= 288$
Number of men $= 112$
$∴$ Number of women $=$ Total persons $-$ Number of men
$= 288 - 112 = 176$
The ratio of men to the total number of persons $= \frac{N u m b e r o f m e n}{T o t a l n u m b e r o f p e r s o n s}$
$= \frac{112}{288}$
$= \frac{7}{18}$ (on dividing numerator and denominator by $16$ )
$= 7 : 18$
Hence, the ratio of men to the total number of persons is $7 : 18$ .
