Solution

Every person has two copies of each gene, one inherited from each parent. The mechanism of transmission of characters, resemblance as well as differences, from the parental generation to the offspring, is called as heredity and to this gene is the basic functional and physical unit of heredity. In humans , gene varies in size from few hundred DNA bases to more than two million bases, most of the genes are same in all individual and this makes the offspring of the same parent resemble one another as well as their parents but a small number of genes that is less than one percent of the total, are slightly different between individual. Each gene can come in different versions or alleles with small differences in their sequence of DNA bases and because of these small differences people acquired unique physical features. Also exposures to different environment conditions such as exercise and eating habits etc. contributes to the physical appearance of each individual. So, because of both genetical and physical characteristics people shows different features even if they belongs to same family or species.
