Mass of car m1=1.2×103 kg
Velocity of car v1=20 m/s
Mass of van m2=4.8×103 kg
Velocity of van v2=?
Both car as well as van has same kinetic energy.
i.e;12m1v12=12m2v22
or, 1.2×103×202=4.8×103×v22
or v22=4004
v2=10m/s
