Solution

Given

V1=2L, T1=273+23.4=296.4K

V2=?, T2=273+26.1=299.1K

According to charles law

V1V2=T1T2

or, V2=V1T2T1

substuting the values, we have

V2=2L×299.1K296.4K

2L×1.009=2.018L
