Given: T100=1500C,T0=200C
TC=60 C

Let Tt be temperature on this new thermometer corresponding to 60 C on Celsius scale

Using the relation

TtT0T100T0=Tc01000

Tt2015020=60100

Tt=0.6×130+20

= 98 C
