On a wall of area 3700 sq. cm, 79 mural paintings are done. The remaining area of the wall is used to hang banners. Find the area for the banners.

Total area of the wall = 3700 sq. cm
Number of mural paintings = 79

Remaining area on the wall will be the remainder of 3700 ÷ 79

Calculating 3700 ÷ 79 by long division method, we get:

The remainder of 3700 ÷ 79 is 66.
